Sun Moon Lake(日月潭)

The jewel of Nantou, Sun Moon Lake(日月潭) is Taiwan’s largest alpine lake and a favorite destination for both locals and tourists. Surrounded by misty mountains and biking trails, the lake offers a peaceful atmosphere perfect for boating, cycling, or simply enjoying the view. Its name comes from the shape of the lake — one side resembles a sun and the other a crescent moon.
