1. General Notice

2. Booking & Payment

Credit Card Payment: After confirming the itinerary and cost, the guest will receive a credit card authorization form to complete and return by email
Customized Tours:

After discussing your preferences, our travel consultant will provide a tailored itinerary and quote (valid for 7 days).

A 30% deposit is required to secure the tour upon confirmation.

The remaining 70% balance is due 14 days before the tour starts.

For tours booked less than 14 days in advance, 100% payment is required immediately. Additional rush processing fees may apply.

If full payment is not received 14 days prior to the tour, we reserve the right to cancel the booking and retain the deposit.
Payment Methods:

Credit Card (VISA/MasterCard) via authorization form (+2% fee)

Bank Transfer (USD or TWD) – transfer fee approx. USD 25–30

PayPal (+4% fee)
3. Cancellation Policy
Package Tours:

More than 24 hours before tour: 30% cancellation fee

Less than 24 hours: No refund
-
No refund if you leave the tour after it has begun

Since policies vary by hotel, some bookings may become non-cancellable once payment has been made
Customized Tours:

More than 7 days before tour: 30% cancellation fee

Less than 7 days: No refund

No refund if you leave the tour after it has begun
Force Majeure (e.g. natural disaster, political unrest):

7+ days prior: USD 100 admin fee, remainder refunded

1–7 days prior: USD 200 admin fee, remainder refunded

Less than 24 hours: USD 300 admin fee, remainder refunded
Pinho Travel reserves the right to cancel any tour under such circumstances.
4. Travel Insurance
In accordance with Taiwanese law, all travelers will be insured with:

NTD 2,000,000 life insurance

NTD 200,000 injury insurance
Please provide: Full name, nationality, passport number, and birthdate. Failure to do so means accepting personal responsibility for any risk.
5. Tour Itinerary & Changes

While we strive to adhere to published itineraries, changes may occur due to operational or safety reasons.

If customers request changes, they bear additional costs.

If Pinho Travel initiates changes, we will cover the cost difference.

All changes will be made through mutual agreement.

Prices may change due to fluctuations in exchange rates or supplier costs. Prices are not guaranteed until ticketing.
6. Responsibility & Liability
Traveler’s Responsibilities:

Choose a trip that matches your physical and personal ability

Prepare using the materials provided (e.g., itinerary, gear list)
Our Responsibilities:

We arrange services including transport, accommodations, and experiences through third-party providers

We are not liable for acts or omissions of these providers, nor for events beyond our control (e.g. delays, natural disasters, accidents)

We are not responsible for any non-refundable personal expenses (e.g. airline tickets, visas, medical fees)
7. Claims and Refunds

Claims will be handled fairly based on the terms above.

If tour changes occur due to external forces, cost responsibility is shared:

Customer-initiated changes: customer pays the difference

Company-initiated changes: we cover the additional cost

All disputes will be handled through rational and transparent communication.
